Statement about work from SGCI:
"Burning Bridges" deals with the connections between memory, loss and the scars that are left behind by the attempt at repairing wounded relationships. These prints correlate much to the affect of media, most specifically film, and the decay that occurs in analog forms of documentation. Through exploring these connections, hope is established in bridging these gaps between liminal spaces, allocating reconciliation to both metaphysical anamnesis and also the restructuring of our past selves within one earthly experience.
